Tesla and Gauss are the standard units used to measure magnetic strength. A Tesla is equal to the magnitude of the magnetic field vector necessary to produce a force of one Newton on a charge of one coulomb moving perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field vector with a velocity of one metre per second. Tesla is a big unit of measurement so it is more common to use the Gauss unit, 1 Tesla being 10,000 Gauss.
Magnetic therapy uses the therapeutic power of static or variable frequency magnetic fields. The devices available on the market today allow us to regulate the magnet frequency in order to efficiently treat all kinds of health complaints.
The strength of the magnetic field at the Earth’s surface ranges between 0.3 and 0.5 Gauss. Once the human body is distanced from the Earth’s magnetic field it begins to experience the effects of decalcification. This effect has been observed in trips into Space, but by subjecting the body to magnetic fields stronger than the Earth’s, we achieve a regenerative effect. Magnetic therapy is used in the treatment of loss of bone density and other medical complaints. A Magnetic therapy device improves atrophic conditions, and consequently aids the recovery process.
